Refund Policy - All Programs

The following reasons will be considered for a refund:

• Medical reasons; a doctor's note must be provided
• Moves outside the region will also be considered
• Any other reason will be considered at the discretion of the ASC Executive Member(s)
• All refunds will need final approval before payouts are issued

The SKATE CANADA MANDATORY FEE  is only refundable prior to 1st day of session and ADMINISTRATION FEE ARE NON-Refundable.

Full program fee refund:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a refund from all  Ajax Skating Club sessions or the entire season before the first day of skating, a full refund will be provided, except for the Administrative fee.

Refunds after the 2nd week of start of season:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a refund from all  Ajax Skating Club sessions or the entire season after the 2nd week of skating will only be considered once a refund request form as been received along with a medical note in the club office or via email.  Refunds will be prorated and additional administrative fees may apply.  Refunds will not include either the Skate Canada Fee and the Administration Fee

Refunds will be added to the members account for future use unless a formal request to have refund applied via the same form of payment has been received.

Partial withdrawal from ASC skating sessions:

For Fall/Winter sessions, if a STARSkate/Learn to Skate Skater requests a full refund for one or more session(s) of multiple sessions, but are still skating in other ASC sessions, the refund will be accepted prior to the first day of skating for the session. Refunds will not include either the Skate Canada Fee and the Administration Fee.

For Fall/Winter sessions, if the refund is requested after the first day of skating, the refund will be issued at  the prorated amount. Refunds will not include either the Skate Canada Fee and the Administration Fee.

Spring Session Refunds:

For Spring sessions, if a STARSkate Skater requests a refund for one or more session(s), the refund will be accepted prior to the first day of skating for the session, less the Administration Fee.  For Spring sessions, if the refund is requested after the first day of skating, refunds will be prorated and additional administrative fees may apply.  Refunds will not include either the Skate Canada Fee and the Administration Fee.

All refunds will be added to the members account for future use.

Refund Requests:

All refund requests must be submitted using the ASC – Refund Request Form.  Refunds will only be considered effective the date the form is processed; there are no backdating requests.

The completed ASC - Refund Request form and supporting documents can be email to office@ajaxskatingclub.ca or hand delivered to the ASC office located at the Ajax Community Centre, 2nd floor,  or mailed to:

No refunds or adjustments will be made due to holidays, illness, maintenance repairs, or ice cancellations.  Make up sessions are not available for skaters unavailable to make a skating session.

No refunds will be granted past the mid-point of a season.

All refunds will be added to the members account for future use unless the skater is leaving the Ajax Skating Club, in which case a cheque will be issued and available for pick-up from the Ajax Skating Club Office during office hours.

All transactions are in CDN dollars.
